What are your favorite crazies up to?

Jill Leigh? Still at the D/Jo message board!

Stela? Now the mod at the Beek board at FF!

Jerry D.? Still kerr-azy!

I don't keep track with them anymore but I do want to know:

1) Where does Monica M live now?

3) How are Sugz and Jenn23 doing?
4) Has Candice stopped crying

When did Jerry leave the DC board at FF?

isadora
11-21-2003, 09:54 PM
I think it was when he got promoted to be lone senior staff admin-y type guy. He was modding both FF and mediablvd until lief made him the shit at FF. Then mediablvd told him to stop down due to 'conflict of interests' and, due to his oh so heavy work load at FF, he turned modding duties over to Sugz. Roxy, perhaps to escape the trials of having to work with Sugz (<---Speculation) handed her duties over to Kim/NikNak.

DAMMIT, I can't type on my laptaop AT ALL. Fuck it!

vanessa

Two P/Joers in charge of the FF DC board? I imagine none of the Daisy kids post there now for sure. They're so mean to us!

<--Never goes to FF anymore. I kinda miss the spoiler thread.

isadora
11-22-2003, 09:59 AM
And Sugz and Mandy/sunchild chased the D/Jers away from mediablvd, too! The D/Jers were doing their usual whiny/bitchy/kerr-azzy ass song and dance -- in their own threads at the Beek board -- and Sugz and Mandy refused to simply watch and enjoy.

They kept posting and/or tattling on the D/Jers and their stupid crazy threads and basically got the D/Jers in trouble for Josh-bashing and being generally kerr-azy. As usual, they took what was an oasis of entertainment in a dying fandom and ruined it. *sob* Of course, I wasn't really keeping up like I used to so it didn't matter so much to me personally but still! It's the principle!

You really have to have a line when you're picking on a group as sensitive as the D/Jers (or they'll go underground and you can't really enjoy HOW crazy they are). That's the difference between them and us, I guess. We have a line of bitchery! And sanity. :D

vanessa
11-22-2003, 10:23 AM
I still blame the FF P/Joers for contributing to the D/Joers leaving after the finale spoilers broke and I'll never take that from my grudge list. Sure, Monica (*sniff* where is that crazy girl?) told them not to post, but if the P/Joers hadn't been so fervent about the win, we could have had so much more fun. The difference between us and the P/J hardcore shippers is that they are actually in it for the win; we're just in it for the fun.

Er no, Roxy left the DC board in Kim's care far before I was even a twinkle in its eye. Nice try though.

Well, I had fun.

Jerry D kinda chose for her. Stela and her co-mod, kats, weren't participating on their FF board, so he "asked them to step down." Hee.

His posts on the mod board make me laugh. I'm still annoyed that he deleted our resignation thread twice, even though he reposted it like the pussy he is. Nice of him to take away our access after literally five minutes, too, so we can't even respond to anyone on it.

Roxy
01-03-2004, 04:06 PM
All that aside, remember how many times we were asked to leave thelma's resignation alone even though we had no plans to respond? Then he decides to debate on our resignation after taking away our ability to respond? What a bitch thing to do.

Cranberry
01-03-2004, 04:19 PM
That's exactly what I thought last night. He's such a bitch.

isadora
01-03-2004, 04:38 PM
Didn't the same thing happen to him at PN? Roxy posted a Jerry D. slaughter at PN and then he was banned before he had a chance to respond?

In this case, you didquit and your mod priveleges should have been taken away.

That's not to say that I don't think you were right to quit; you should have quit long ago!

Here's why I can't stand FF or Mediablvd. An anonymous poster replied to Cran's LJ and then signed the post. She didn't just sign it, oh no! Hee. She signed it something like: Nikki AKA ~*Nikki*~! :rollin:

That's funny! Also, Brendon Fehr of Roswell having access to your private mod board is HYSTERICAL. Like, I almost couldn't breath when I read that.

And the mediablvd peeps being behind the FF hacking was quelle surprise! Except for that part where anybody who didn't believe that before was a dumbass.

You know, that certainly seems obvious, but they didn't even spoof the IP address when they hacked FF? That seems like something that somebody who had root access would know to do. And it is awfully easy, no matter what that little D/Jo kid (I can't remember his name now - something dude or dude something?) wanted people to think. Maybe it was them, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was somebody allegedly on the FF side. There are borderline personalities and drama queens on both sides of this conflict. That GoldenBoy always seemed fishy to me.

I'm surprised that Roxy and Cranberry had any dealing with Jerry at all after the (best thread ever) thread at PP about him harassing her.

Jerry was banned from PN a few days after all that hit the fan. I didn't have admin controls for that site, so I wasn't behind that.

As for having the privs taken away, I totally agree. However, there is also an unwritten rule of FF where you don't turn resignation threads into debate threads (unfair for debate reasons) and I guess that's not the case anymore. That's what I'm bitching about. I've seen much worse said on the way out. I think my fave was when the U2 (I think that was the board) mods quit because they believed FF was hoarding all the money that was donated to the site.

Good times.

Cranberry
01-03-2004, 06:08 PM
Ha, I remember when Lisa told me Leif was hoarding all the money donated to the site and using it to pay for his nice new car. I think she was lying; he bought the car when the site was making legitimate money through ads and sold it later, when the site started losing cash. I still found it funny, though. She was such a backstabbing bitch. Her favorite little trick was to "accidentally" forward people nasty e-mails someone else had written about them. Yeah, I accidentally do that ALL the TIME.

Roxy
01-03-2004, 07:51 PM
Ha. Lisa couldn't even keep her lies straight. All she did was make up stories about the money. What a cunt.

NeoMaxy
01-03-2004, 08:00 PM
I don't know anything about her personally, but I do have big issues with posters who put baby/small child pics of their children in their avatars. *shudder* It's just sort-of creepy when it's on a fan board and it clearly points out that the person should have bigger priorities, you know? Get offline and go play with your ugly kids!

Cranberry
01-03-2004, 08:14 PM
Yeah, that's one thing I'll say for Leif, Kenn and Angela: they spent more time offline with their kids than they did at Fan Forum. Lisa's kids have special needs, too. That woman needs to get her priorities straight.

I'm really amused that our resignation turned into such a big thing. This was actually our idea of "going quietly."

Roxy
01-03-2004, 08:17 PM
Word, Neo. But for all the time that she spent online, I can say that she wasn't always posting or irritating the shit out of people. Which is a hell of a lot more than what I can say for Jerry D. I don't think that dude EVER sleeps. He is ALWAYS online.

Dude, Roxy! Thelma replaced us! We should have seen that one coming.

For anyone who hasn't had the pleasure of dealing with her, thelma is a great friend of Jerry D's; she's around 50 years old and overly conservative. She used to mod the Off-Topic board, and if she saw a thread about tampons or one called "Can You Pee (if someone on the cover of a magazine is staring at you)" she'd close them for being "inappropriate." She'd close threads about lip gloss for being too "fluffy," but then she'd go on to discuss her boyfriend giving her oral sex (except as a bizarre Oreo cookie metaphor). Anyway, she hates Roxy and me and we're not too fond of her. I'm not at all surprised she replaced us.

Thelma is a douchebag. I have no respect for a woman who can't even acknowledge that when her board gets a new comod, she leaves for 2 weeks and expects said comod to actually give a rats ass about what she thinks is right. I mean, with all these old fartknockers giving up so much free time to run these fan forums, you would have to think they would be making big bucks or something. No, though, they do it out of the pure kindness of their hearts. I would assume they just have no real control and feel completely inadequate in their own lives. Since they are about to die, they might as well try and affect thousands of young women across the universe with their love oforeo cookie sexual innuendos and Dawson and Joey.

Someone please give me your two fingers so I can vomit.

Edited because I am so awesome I use typos.

From Julialex:
That's why I always found the DJ claims that they wouldn't have gloated over a DJ victory to be so false. When they thought they had a victory, they gloated with maximum energy. So the PJ trophy dance at the end always felt to me like a case of what goes around comes around.

And SkerryD!
That trophy dance was hilarious! It was one of the funniest things that I’ve ever seen here at Fan Forum. The trophy, the cheering crowds, and all the other pictures posted had me cracking up at my desk. It was like the last hurrah of the Dawson’s Creek fandom.

Aww, I can never move on from the crazies. I hope they never stop. I need reminders like this to remember to go have a gander at the old FF. Lots of nudge, nudge, wink, winking about chatting with Paul. And The J's "request" to Mandy about not posting pics of his family wasn't taken as anything like a stern (although dipolomatic) warning or that he's a smidge scared of obsessed fan. Just more nudge, nudge, wink, wink, The J's been in contact!

The hypocrisy of complaining about images being pinched from websites with no credit given makes fun reading. The shock and dismay shown on quite a few of the threads over that being done to her is pretty amazing when, well you know the rest.

OMG, that is so funny that it almost hurts.

That we call ourselves The Fellowship of the Surl? :rollin: Have there ever been a dumber group of people? I mean, we've *joked* amongst ourselves that, luckily, Paul had us to tell him how much Dawson and Joey sucked but, unlike those who rose to power while the fandom was in ashes, we don't actually think we can speak on behalf of the show's producers.

The FUNNIEST thing about this is that I recall Neo telling me right after she posted that Fellowship thing that she wrote that just to annoy the lurking kerr-azies!! *dies* That Neo can really push the buttons, no?

Hee. I think my exact words were something like, watch how long it takes lurking lameos to take that and RUN with it. I wonder how it must feel to be so predictable?

And actually, if they read that post correctly, the funny part is that I never said who the Fellowship was. I never said it was anyone here, but the remaining five fandom crazies sure made that jump. I find it amusing that they are so easily baited and emotionally manipulated.

It's almost as funny as when I used to have a fake FF name and post fake spoilers in S5 & S6 to see how long it would take both fancamps to jump in and verify their accuracy, which they both did.

Today at work there was some debate about the proper way to pronounce a word. Someone thought aboretum should be pronounced a-bore-a-tum but someone agreed with me that it should be pronounced r-bore-ee-tum. I wasn't about to say that I thought Hamster Boy and his Delusional S**lm*t* pronounced it that way in a DC ep.

Miss Alli at pamie's blog, says about her name:
Believe me, if I had it to do over again, my TWoP name would just be "Linda." You have to understand that at the time I chose it, "Miss Alli" was merely one of a gazillion message board handles never expected to have any significance. Little did I know. I sort of roll my eyes at it myself, as I think it makes me sound like a perky and dominating prostitute, but the situation is what it is. Sigh. I'm tempted to reply and say "I wish it was still Glory, Girl Writer" or "I know Linda and you, my dear, are NO LINDA."

Hee. That whole thing still makes me laugh.

Damn, where did I put all of those "Ferryman" quotes? I used up a whole lot of them back in the day at the other site when Jason first took over from Ask Liz (it was Liz, wasn't it? I grow old and my mind dims).

I did find this one . . .
The ferryman’s slim and the ferryman’s young, With just a soft tang in the turn of his tongue; And he’s fresh as a pippin and brown as a berry . . .

This has been me, this past year . . .
Beneath the appearances, we were happy, but there was no ferryman, no rush of light and air, no trees that lacked the intelligence of trees. - Brian Kitely

The "brown as a berry" quote was from Theophile Julius Henry Marzials . . .which, btw, would be an excellent name for a WB character, if one were so inclined to be writing scripts for the new pilot season, hint hint.

Castaways "dalies" (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=18839&item=4019619195&rd=1) on ebay : nearly 54 hours of Josh and Katie flirting between takes! They went for 394$ ! They're pretty funny. Josh and Katie diss La Spears, sing some vintage Clapton together, and generally crack each other up between takes. Comments on pamie's site (http://www.haloscan.com/comments/pamie/110901199728850808) after she links to a recap. Angry reviewers and even angrier TWOP admins and recappers show up and prove that yes, they're still assholes. You can figure out who some of the recappers are because they all link up to their personal websites (drama queens).

Sars, Wing Chunt, and Miss Alli all make appearances.

I think it's very amusing that the majority of the comments defending Pamie are from other TWoP recappers. That attack dog mob mentality is just another reason why TWoP sucks ass now. Hope your forums crash yet again, bitches!

isadora
02-24-2005, 02:39 PM
Curious.

What's wrong with disagreeing with the recapper? Don't get me wrong, I thought the criticism was total ass but who fucking cares if some lame-o disagrees with you? Seriously, don't they get emails like that every.day?

Omar: That said, I still think it's insanely rude to go to someone's personal site and tell them, in this vaguely bullshit sympathetic tone, that they're wrong in their assessment of A FREAKIN' TV SHOW.

I don't get why that's rude.

Yeah, it's unbelievable to see Pam, who's turned out literally hundreds of insightful and hilarious (not to mention free for the readers) recaps on numerous different shows, be castigated practically in her own living room for opinions expressed in one recap.
Are they still playing that song? Because I haven't been there in years to hear it and I'm STILL fucking sick of it!
:curse: :curse: :curse:
I like this response:

I don't understand the contention that Pamie provides her recaps for free and thus it is ungrateful to critique them. After all, Gilmore Girls is provided for free as well, and that's fair game for Pamie to snark upon.

But what you and your 15 pages of "cool kids" hiding over on fanforum and congratulating yourself for being "outcasts" don't seem to get is that what the people who got warned did to Pamie was not the equivalent of saying to another poster "I disagree with you and here's why." It was the equivalent of "I disagree with you, and your post sucks because of it."

Hee. I see no problem with that whatsoever.

Seriously, they get *that* hurt when a shipper or some nutty fan gets mad at one of their recaps?
My GOD they are sensitive little recappers, aren't they?

And let's just consider for a second that not all recaps are created equally, k? If you're phoning it and someone calls you out maybe that's a good thing?

Excuse me while I die laughing.

Okay, back now.

What I really don't get is that everyone is attacking the first chick who posted because she criticized Pamie for not liking the episode. What I got from the first post was: "Hey, you don't have to like every episode, but couldn't you at least be funny?" (Which, btw, explains exactly how I felt about Sars's DC recaps during season 5. I mean, jebus, I hate the fucktacular show, too, but girlfriend just wasn't bringing the funny at all anymore.) All the TWoP twats seem to say it's OK to criticize the writing itself, yet they seem to have missed the fact that it's eactly what Pamie was being criticized for. Oh how I :luv: the sactimonious hypocrisy.

I also think it's hilarious that Pamie hasn't really made an appearance and yet dozens of TWoP peeps have jumped on to say how personally insulted/hurt/whatever she is.

Please, it's not like everyone came to her site and spam-bombed it with "Pamie is a cunt!" :rollin:

That is some of the silliest shit I've ever heard.

My favorite thing is the obvious disdain people at TWoP have for those who frequent their site. If y'all pay the recappers and make money off of the people who view your site, that shit isn't really free. Your business will eventually fail if you don't listen to the criticism of the people who are generating that money for you.

And everyone who has said anything negative about TWoP over there immediately gets accused of being so angry and bitter and too obsessed with a television show and in need of a life. Seriously, you're all involved in the same lameass argument, so yeah, pot, kettle.

There's also a thread (http://www.journalfen.net/community/fandom_wank/638348.html) about this on Fandom Wank, which is quite funny because it's turned into a huge bitchfest about everything horrible the people at TWoP have ever done.

They want it to be a profitable business. They used to encourage posters to run off the dumbasses and now you get smacked because OMG they might buy a t-shirt!

And no, I haven't be banned either. I left in disgust when the admins changed the posting rules but didn't bother to TELL anyone, they just started random smacking and banning of posters for things that had previously not only been okay but had been a point of pride for the admins to have posters who would so quickly run off the idiots and trolls.

Leave Pamie alone. All sanctimony is allowed - she has a television job these days. A television job! TELEVISION! That's like, the BESTEST. They get to use phrases like "Red Stater" instead of "total dipshit". To reiterate, in case any "Red Staters" didn't see it the first time: "Red Stater". And you can like, go around saying "Red Stater" when you mean "total dipshit" without like, you know, total dipshits understanding that you're calling them a total dipshit. It's genius. BWAH! That is some of the funniest shit I have ever read. I especially loved Sars's "Spacebar. Look into it!" burn. Because I think that would have thrown me off my ledge if I'd been on one.

What a bunch of sanctimonious cows. And why is Omar funny? Do you have to be in the in-crowd to get all his lame in-crowd jokes?

As for Linda/Glory/Alli's speedy response about the fanfic, I could just imagine her gushing all those well-written words our in 3.2 seconds, while wringing her hands and rubbing the point of her shoe in the dirt - Kinda like Fat-Monica talking to Chandler back in the day. Girl's got eyebrows though, I'll give her that.

There is a very amusing image on this page (http://www.journalfen.net/community/fandom_wank/640174.html?page=2)!

Spare the snark, spoil the recapper. Amusing.

I especially like the person that points out how weird it is to run a site for media crit and then you get mad when you become very successful and, thus, part of the media and the object of criticism. It's very amusing to me.

Remind me never to let anyone start a "Dieseldora Owns Me!" thread, k?

Sarah
03-01-2005, 03:40 PM
Well, I have to say that I find Linda the most power drunk too.

I posted in Pamie's thread that her response to that criticism lacked class and missed the point. She deleted it and suggested I email her. Warning level: 20%

Next, I posted my sarcastic praise in Pamie's thread for not being afraid to attack that girl's criticism publicly and said that "she rocked" which seemed to be required for the thread. Erin/Regina comes by and deletes the post before mine and leaves me alone. Linda shows up much later, deletes mine and ups my warning to 80% without any reasoning in the lametastic warning box.

<-- 20% away from a ban

I can't help it; I  this kind of shit.

By Linda are we still talking about Miss Alli? Because yeah (http://p085.ezboard.com/fsurvivorsucksfrm23.showMessage?topicID=3454.topic ). I haven't read really any of the thread, but do you see how long it is?! Jesus! People hate her.

I found it linked somewhere on that Fandom Wank thread, but I can't remember where.

I love that you posted, Sarah! I didn't think anyone from here would, but I did see one person who posted something fairly articulate that Pamie actually responded to maturely. It was deleted later, I think by the actual poster

isadora

I can't even believe they have a "warning" box! That's pretty funny.

What an innovative system to help mods who feel conflicted about random banning! Do the warnings go away over time? Or are you thisclose to being banned forever!? Hee!

Sarah
03-02-2005, 09:50 AM
From the sanctimonious FAQ:

The warn system is a function that puts a user on notice for doing things that are wrong but not ban-worthy. It also allows one moderator to see whether another moderator has also addressed a poster issue, and when, so that the user doesn't have to be told twelve times in the same day not to sign his posts, or whatever.

Every user starts with a warn level of 0%, but the warning indicator only appears if the user has a warning level greater than zero (i.e. has been warned).

Users can only see their own warn levels. To see the reason for a warn, click on the "X%" link after "Warn." It will show a pop-up where the moderator who warned you will have entered a reason at the time of your warning.

The duration of the warning is at the mod's discretion. It may be permanent, or not. Assume it will last forever; then, if a mod happens to reduce your warn level down the road, you'll be pleasantly surprised! But don't email us or post on the boards to protest a warn or to ask us to reduce your warn level; it doesn't work that way and will probably just end badly.

Think of your warning as sort of like getting out of a traffic ticket. You could have been dinged with a big penalty, but instead you just got scared straight. If we give you a warning instead of banning you, it means we don't think you're beyond help; don't prove us wrong! Read the reason for your warning and learn from it. [Linda didn't give me one! I wonder if a mod warned her for warning improperly? :dblnono:]

WTF? The mod at the time of offense should let your ass know if they plan on leaving it there. Oh well, I'm really worried, you know. I hope I still get to read the recaps for free!

OMB Patty's posts are too good; I have to bring them here for people who don't want to venture to TWoP! They're so good they're self-snarking! No need to insert comments of your own!
I NEED to say this but I thought Katie was the "girl next door?" No offense but Katie will never be taken seriously as an actress since she goes around dating all these men. I am not JEALOUS of Chris being with Katie but iMO, katie will do anything to become famous. Some "girl next door".

Now that Katie is dating Tom, Katie will be all famous and make the other castmembers on DC look bad because they didn't snag a big star like Tom.

I will admit although it is wrong but I feel in my heart that Katie's fame is beginning to make the other castmembers look bad.

I will admit that.
And possibly my fave (after someone referred to TC as a "twice-divorced Scientologist dwarf"):
Oh how nice, the guy is 5'6 and people act like he is some horrible guy just because he isn't tall. And people wonder why I have an issue with being short, with comments like "dwarf". :rollin:

But even beyond Patty's insanity, there are people there who think KH is a step UP for TC. Zuh? KH may get more press than the rest of the Creekers, but I'd argue she is still nowhere near real A-List. I really don't think most people over 30 or 40 know who the hell she is. Her only truly big movies $$ wise have been for the younger crowd, and her name certainly can't open a movie. So yeah, KH is a real trade up from his Academy Award nominated ex-wife. Sure!

TWoP is so sad. Someone there TMed "painfully shy" (in reference to KH). Yes, apparently that's a clever, original phrase thought up by another poster!

Herman
04-29-2005, 01:48 AM
:nono: Katie doesn't even need to give all of her to "open a movie" (TM diesel), her tits alone singlehandedly drew viewers to watching The Gift. (I learned that from Harold and Kumar.) Has Nicole Kidman ever pull that off? I don't think so.

While this TC/KH thing is highly interesting, I find it less interesting that the fact that Bronwen and Patty are still hanging to the Dawson's Creek board. What year did the show end? Bronwen I can understand, actually : Because she's crazy. But Patty - what keeps drawing her to DC boards? She never seem a totally rabid fan (relatively, compared to, well, everybody) of any cast member as much as she's a rabid hater of Katie. The combination of being somewhat aware of her craziness and being unable to stop from showing it to everybody makes her a more complex personality than Bronwen.

Here (http://forums.televisionwithoutpity.com/index.php?showforum=592)

It's on Other Shows/Drama that consists of threads of series that have ended since ages ago, which normally each show only needs one thread to cover a whole show. Except Dawson's Creek apparently, this dead horse needs its own subforum, with the amazingly always up to date threads like "Your favorite DC Episodes." and "A Year's Supply of Bleach for Jessica."

NeoMaxy

Another Twop-hating place pops up on the net. (http://p097.ezboard.com/btwopsucks) *sniff* It's always nice to see more hate. Miss Alli even has her own thread. Quelle suprise.

The SurvivorSucks thread (http://p085.ezboard.com/fsurvivorsucksfrm24.showMessageRange?topicID=246.t opic&start=2521&stop=2533) has been shut down at 127 pages. That's a lot of hate! :devwink:

We certainly do need *another* one of those, and I'm sure she's qualified to write it with as many TV Boyfriends as she's had.
But wait! Here's what sets her apart!

In truth, I've been writing the same kinds of things that show up in this book for a really long time. I write about self-possessed women, how unwise it is to refuse to drop arguments, why women get stuck on dismissive jackasses, why acting like a jerk is not something you should tolerate, and why you shouldn't try to be cute in ways that are mean. In fact, the Married By America recaps alone provide adequate warm-up for this experience.
I didn't bother, but that quote is whoring TWoP links to her recaps. And this is the guy (http://www.usatoday.com/tech/webguide/internetlife/2004-02-10-online-dating-advice_x.htm) she's writing it with. He thought it would be a great angle to get a chick who hates the books to coauthor one.

Maybe all the real-life examples the book uses can be pulled from her fic!

I almost forgot to mention Neo's amusing Creek Revisited Post (http://www.madnono.com/2005/05/13/223015.php)! Heeeee!

As if they hadn't known her since she was a little girl and had to deal with at least a little fall-out of Pacey's dad arresting her dad? Please! If it was some new girlfriend? Yes. But Joey? Whatevah!

I also found the show's portrayal of the working class sheriff's family to be deeply insulting. I think if you like chipped beef - and I don't even know what the fuck that is - you should be offended. They were *clearly* calling you white trash.

And the memory of Dawson's S4 hair is *deeply* amusing to me. Damn! I don't have S4 on DVD!

[I wish I still had the old tape that had the Creek Anti-drug PSA commercial on it!]

I think it was plausible that they didn't know her name. The mom was clearly sipping some booze at that dinner and who wouldn't assume Joey was short for something like Joanna? I took it as more of a passive-aggressive jab at her than actually forgetting.

And who is calling whom white trash when a family meal consists of chipped beef and (invisible) tater tots? Not that I wouldn't totally eat that meal happily, but still.

(If anyone has the DVD and can confirm for me whether Jack is spooning tots or carrots, I'd appreciate it! ;))

Given what tomorrow is, I thought I should wish everyone a very happy five year Sex Day Anniversary.

I vote we all watch Diesel's "A Witter's Tale" trailer in celebration.

I don't really knows how this survivor game (http://forums.televisionwithoutpity.com/index.php?showtopic=3129867&view=getnewpost) runs, but I can't believe the guys on TWOP are still doing this shit!

Ok, are they seriously still talking about Dawson's Creek? I mean, I like to reminisce at times -- I love a good memory of crazies gone by -- but seriously?

Aside from that thread, mostly they talk about the actors, it seems.

I took a look at the Dirty's thread. I don't recognize the names. They're either new posters or old posters reregistering with new names after being banned.

I do remember that unpaid Joshua Jackson's PR girl AKA Sunchild. And also Patty, who is still angry.

In other news, the J has a new straight to DVD movie featuring his bare ass.

Thanks to Sunchild for uploading 1063 screencaps of that movie to her site.

TWoP's got nothing on FF, where the anti-Pacey/Joey thread is alive and kicking, and surprisingly popular for a show that has been off the air for years. I would link to it, but it's not worth reading. It offers gems like "I saw this couple on Dr. Phil that totally reminded me of P/J."

I mean, I enjoy the hate as much as anyone, but that shit is just boring.

I know, but of course I go there anyway. I have forgotten it ever existed.

Fanforum looks sad, and I don't mean lameness, I mean there aren't that many posts there for "OMG! ITA!" type forums. I guess they'll be history in a year or two. Where else can you find forums where posters have serious signatures like "Claybee #1 Keeper of his Glory note and neck vein and his eyelash flutters" (Yes, I've looked at the American Idol forums.)

I notice that Jerry D is still an admin.

I think there must be a new place we don't know about, where all the old posters have moved into.

I'm guilty of still reading the TWOP fanfic thread, which for some reason recently is having an upswing of posts. The best part is that one of the writers they are talking about is GloryGirl. Oh how I want to jump in and tell them that she's Miss Alli.

Please feel free to do so. I have all her fanfic as I am the keeper of the flame, apparently.

I'll happily email the fic to anyone that requests it! :)

It's like there's a secret network, actually, because I STILL get requests for DC fanfic occassionally. "Hey, I heard you might have Kate Andrews/Glory Girl's fic? Would you mind sending it to me?"

I've made a few promise they wouldn't say where they got it. Hee. I was like: Um, if you use this for evil, please leave me out of it.

Hee! So did Neo keep her promise?

I still remember sending you the original teh sex scene from GG's fic that she edited. BWAH! Good old DC days, I miss them.

Ha! I remember getting that fic from Isadora years ago. I also remember that it was very disappointing. I expected it to be much better after I heard the story behind it and how it was all being traded on some sort of underground fic railroad. It's not bad, it's just sort of eh.

I imagine if you mention that GGW is Miss Alli the post will be deleted, or you'll be banned. Or has she stopped caring about all that?

Aww. I was thinking about DC the other day. I couldn't remember what year the show went off. I know it was around when D got married, but which year was that?

Herman

I think the last season is season 6 which means it started at 2002 and ended at 2003.

Bwah! I just realize you're talking about diesel here. At first I thought you meant Dawson when you said "D", but I remember just now that his name is actually James van der Beek.

I guess that guy will forever be Dawson, then, no matter how many Rules of Attraction movies he will attempt.

I kinda miss him now. What's he up to these days?
